Not far from the main square is the historic “Osteria Dalla Pierina”, located in the longest portico of Mirano called "small houses" where the farmers of Villa Mariutto resided in the 1700s.
A typically Venetian atmosphere, welcoming and familiar, with proposals from the local market, both meat and fish. In the summer you can eat in an intimate internal garden.
The flavors of the cuisine are marked by the rhythm of the seasons, with proposals ranging from fried courgette flowers to pumpkin and castelmagno gnocchi, to veal cheek braised with San Marzano. On the menu one can find the creamed cod and fried calamari from the Adriatic, or the “schie” with “castraure di S.Erasmo” and other types of fish paired with seasonal vegetables. The desserts are strictly homemade, the coffee granita, the chocolate and raspberry pie, the soft apple shortcrust pastry are examples of desserts that you will find on the menu.
