The route starts from the Church of Santa Maria and Elisabetta in Grezzana and winds its way along a scenic green ridge. Beginning near the town library, the trail climbs gently through woods, vineyards, and olive groves, crossing the characteristic landscapes of Valpantena, where nature blends harmoniously with traditional rural life.
The hike leads to the ancient hamlet of La Colombara, near Lumiago, offering a wide panoramic view over the lower valley, Monte Comun, the western Lessinia hills, and, in the distance, the Baldo mountain range.
The return follows a pleasant loop trail descending again towards Contrada Sarmazzi and Località Catena, eventually bringing visitors back to the starting point in Grezzana.
An ideal experience for those who love walking in nature, discovering authentic rural scenery, local stories, and breathtaking views just a few steps from Verona.
