Affi is about 30 kilometres north-west of the main town. The town is situated 191 metres above sea level[6] and lies at the foot of Mount Moscal, which with its 427 metres of altitude dominates the southern part of Lake Garda and is the massif that stands in opposition to Mount Baldo; it is lapped by the Tasso stream, a right-hand tributary of the Adige River. It has always been the key to access the central part of Lake Garda. It was once a station on the disused Verona-Caprino railway line and is now the exit of the A22 Modena-Brenner motorway, which provides access to Lake Garda for German and northern European tourists. At the beginning of 2016, the Californian car manufacturer Tesla opened a station in the European Supercharger network near the motorway exit for fast charging (100 km/10 minutes on average) of its eponymous electric cars, which allows Italian and European users to continue their journey to and from the Brenner Pass thanks to Affi's location.
