Cavaion is about 20 kilometres from the municipality of Verona and 25 km from the city centre. Compared to the capital, it is in a north-west position. The highest elevation is on Mount San Michele at 342 metres above sea level on the southern slopes of Mount Moscal, while the capital is 190 metres above sea level. From the two heights of Cavaion, Monte San Michele and Monte Ceriel, one of the best views of Lake Garda can be enjoyed.
