Dedicated to Santa Maria Maggiore, it was built starting in 1805 based on a design by architect Count Bartolomeo Giuliari and completed in 1868 with the monumental pronaos, composed of Corinthian columns.
Among the works housed inside, there is "Jesus and the Samaritan at the Well" attributed to Girolamo dai Libri and a "Visitation" by Giovanni Caliari.
