Coltelleria Calcagni

It is located in Largo Pescheria Vecchia and its furniture includes wooden display cabinets with glass doors which date to the first half of the 20th century, and a L-shaped wooden counter charaterized by the alternating dark nuances of the fake pilasters and light ones of the mirrors. The glass sign dates to the beginning of the last century and presents an enamelled print, with a wooden frame on a metal structure.

The shop window is the original one and can still be rotated. The cutlery Calcagni is in the Botteghe Storiche register both for quality and seniority.

Interesting facts: the shop window can rotate upon its axis in order to store the goods after closing time. This peculiar closure system, which is visible only from inside the shop, is unique in the city.
