The route begins at Via Dalmazia in the old village of Costa; here it is worth a stop at the ancient Church of San Silvestro, decorated inside with a cycle of frescoes executed in the 16th century by the painter Antonio Rosso, known as il Cadorino, which houses a copy of the altarpiece by Francesco da Milano on the main altar, now housed in the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art. There are also interesting houses that have preserved the characteristic pegs and devotional frescoes on the walls. From the village, a gently sloping path begins that leads through the woods to the Sanctuary of Madonna della Salute. The small temple, dedicated to the Virgin and San Colombano, was built as a vow in the 17th century following the terrible plague of 1630. From here, if desired, you can return to the main road to reach the Caglieron Caves.
