Museo della Battaglia
Piazza Giovanni Paolo I , Vittorio Veneto - 31029
Inaugurated in 1938 in the ancient municipal lodge of Ceneda, the Museum of the Battle is entirely dedicated to the First World War and is the donation of the personal collection of Luigi Marson (1899-1952), one of the heroic boys of '99. The interior is divided into thematic areas: the "trench" on the ground floor, "the year of Occupation" on the first floor where part of the exhibition is dedicated to the written and photographic testimonies of the city's occupation by the Austrians following the defeat of Caporetto, and finally on the top floor "From battle to myth" dedicated to the final battle that ended with victory.
