Centro Cadore Fishing Basin no. 4 is located in the very heart of the Dolomites and includes the towns and villages of Pieve di Cadore, Calalzo di Cadore, Domegge di Cadore, Lozzo di Cadore, Vigo di Cadore, Lorenzago di Cadore and Perarolo di Cadore, each playing a part in the history of the Cadore area. The joy of angling in such a unique place, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, flower meadows that look like something out of a Titian painting, and lush woodland that is home to a variety of fauna, makes Centro Cadore a unique fishing spot.
The area includes the vast Centro Cadore Lake, the Piave River and a number of streams. Here you can try your hand at catching marble, brown and lake trout, grayling, Arctic char, the fearsome pike that lives in the calm, deep waters of the lake, perch, large carp, tench, magnificent chub, pigo and nase, in the kill, catch and release and no-kill fishing zones (especially in the stretch of the Piave River downstream of the dam across Centro Cadore Lake, the preferred habitat of the marble trout).
