A dam built in 1931 created Lake Santa Caterina whose characteristic emerald green colour makes it a not-to-be-missed attraction. A walk around the lake is a chance to admire the natural environment with its spruce and beech trees and Auronzo town and breathe in some good fresh mountain air.
