When we talk about Valdobbiadene DOCG it is really difficult to express in words the beauty of the hills and steep slopes where the Glera, autochthonous grape, has found the ideal environment to best express its unmistakable peculiarities. Le Bertole winery has its roots in the tradition of popular wine culture and owes its name to the first vineyard owned in the Cartizze area in 1930, in the heart of the DOCG.
Founded in 1997 by Gianfranco Bortolin and his wife Viviana, heirs of history and passion of third generation, the current company has 18 hectares of property where the production of the precious grapes is followed by the tireless care of the vineyards until the bottling of our Valdobbiadene DOCG, that stands out for its finesse and elegance. The dedication that binds this family to the culture of wine means that even the fourth generations with Davide and Maria Bortolin carry on a philosophy of innovation and continuity in the company, always in search of quality and attentive to the protection and sustainability of the environment, strictly linked to the compliance with the disciplinary.
Thanks to this combination of historical passion and continuous evolution, the company has quickly established itself on the Italian and international market as evidenced by the numerous awards received in these 28 years of activity.
