To truly understand what Riva means in Valdobbiadene, one must climb among the rows of vines. This tour begins at the Gemin winery and takes you into the heart of the hills, aboard the company vehicle, while the guide narrates the landscape and the characteristics of the territory traversed.
After about fifteen minutes, you reach a historic vineyard on one of the slopes of Valdobbiadene. From here, you continue on foot, taking an easy walk among the rows that leads up to the highest part of the hill. The pace slows down and the vineyard becomes the focal point of the story: not just the place where the grapes grow, but the point from which to understand the relationship between human labor, slope, and the landscape of the Prosecco Hills.
At the top, a glass of Valdobbiadene DOCG from the Rive selection awaits you, made with grapes from the very vineyard you just traversed.
Upon returning to the winery, you sit down again at the table to continue with a tasting of Valdobbiadene DOCG, accompanied by local cured meats and cheeses, along with Pan da Vi.
