The bell tower is the only survived architectural portion of the ancient Parish Church of Casale di Scodosia, originally dedicated to Santa Maria. The tower may have been built between the 10th and 11th century.
Entirely made of bricks, it shows, at the top, the cell illuminated by biforas separated by little columns: the only one original has a "pulvino" capital.
The two bells, removed, are now located inside the Archpriestal Church of Santa Maria di Casale di Scodosia.
