The Castle of San Zeno: We will admire from the outside the oldest part of the town, the starting point of our story.
The charm of the moat: We will descend into the ancient medieval ditch, now transformed into a suggestive green meadow, for a stop dedicated to the splendid Villa Pisani, a masterpiece designed by the famous architect Andrea Palladio.
The 14th-century city walls: We will walk along the historic walls commissioned by the Carrara family, lords of Padua, which have reached us in perfect condition, until we reach the majestic Rocca degli Alberi.
The heart of the town: Among glimpses of historic buildings and churches, the route will conclude in the beautiful Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Here, if there are no religious celebrations taking place, we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, a treasure trove of art housing masterpieces by absolute masters such as Paolo Veronese, Giorgione, and the Buonconsiglio.
