Probably built around 1537-1538, this sumptuous palace, following a fire that damaged the upper part, was partially rebuilt in 1593.
The design of the building is attributed to Michele Sanmicheli, a famous Veronese Renaissance architect. Worthy of mention are the precision of the design, the contrivance of moving the building back from the road layout in order to enjoy a greater scenic effect, as well as the accentuated chiaroscuro relationship of the lower half.
Inside, the most valuable room is the Council Room, whose ceilings, in 1605, were decorated with refined wooden carvings by Marcantonio Vanin.
