The building dates back to the end of the 14th century and for some researchers, in origin, it could have the function of a barrack. We have informations of the Grompo family since the 15th century. In 1647 it was aggregated to the Nobil Council of Padua and it maintained this status until the fall of Serenissima. Characteristic is the majestic balcony in white marble and in Venetian style, on the east side of the house.
