1° Day
Arrival and accommodation at the Hotel Asolo 3***. Free time available.
2° Day
Planned hiking excursion to the Madonna of Covolo Shrine and Mount Grappa, between landscapes and nature.
The Covolo shrine, from which the itinerary starts, overlooks Crespano del Grappa, the surrounding hills and the vast plain. The Canova’s Temple inspires the church structure. The itinerary will lead to the Grappa mountaintop. Then, it will continue across the “Mulattiera” of Covolo, and after numerous hairpin turns the Ardosetta house will be reached. Later, crossed the road to the valley of Mure, it ends at Mount Grappa. The duration of the itinerary is more than 8 kilometres, and the maximum difference in height is approximately 1.100 metres. Along the itinerary, the panorama overlooks the Venetian plain and makes the slope before Mount Grappa more enjoyable. It is possible to have a break at the “Bassano Cima Grappa” refuge.
The excursion will have a duration of a day, and the naturalistic guide and the transfer (on request) to Asolo will be included. It is recommended to adult sports and nature enthusiasts. Free lunch.
3° Day
The morning will be dedicated to the half-day guided visit of the beautiful medieval hamlet of Asolo, one of the most valuable hamlets of Italy. The program will include a pleasant cultural walk around the historical and architectonical beauties of Asolo.
At the end of the excursion, there will be a break in a typical osteria where cold cuts, cheese, and bread baked in a wood oven will be served. After the lunch break, there will be free time. The excursion will last a half day, and the 2.30 hours guide, the tasting in the osteria, free time in Asolo, and the transfer service (on request) will be included. Excursion recommended to anybody.
