Macelleria Bertani

Among the original elements preserved in the shop and which are still in use are: the refrigerator aisle on wheels, the cash register, the chunk for cutting the meats made of wooden and iron staves, various tools and machines such as meat slicers.

The architectural elements mirror the characteristics of the butcher shops of the 1950s and 1960s, which for hygiene reasons have marble floors and marble slabs on the walls. In this butcher shop the wall furnishings are made of Trani bronze slabs, alternated on the above frame and inferior base with green marble from the Alps.

The butcher shop Bertani belongs to the Botteghe Storiche register both for quality and seniority.

Interesting facts: the shop window on to the street is characterized by an inferior part which can be opened in order to store a mobile refrigerator aisle.
