Renato Cadavello is a master of ironworking; he had the great fortune of attending the workshop of master Toni Benetton. Alongside the master, he develops his own poetic approach to metal shaping and begins working as an artistic blacksmith.
After gaining experience in several workshops, at 24 he sets out on his own by opening a small shop. Unfortunately, a serious fire devastates the building, but Renato continues to work by collaborating with other workshops. In 1980, he rents a warehouse outside the walls, in the Selvana Bassa area, where he still works today. In just a few years, he gains considerable fame and expands his production: he creates objects for interior decoration, models for the creation of railings, balustrades, gates, and other outdoor furniture.
Among his famous works are the Ducks at the Treviso train station and the Fish at the Fish Market.
