The Sile invites you to slow down. Aboard a kayak, the noise of the roads gives way to the flowing water, the vegetation along the banks, and the Venetian Villas that appear among the trees.
From the headquarters of Venice Trail in Lughignano di Casale sul Sile, you paddle for about ten kilometers following the calm current of the river. The sit-on-top kayaks are stable and easy to use even for first-time users; before departure, the staff provides all the necessary instructions to navigate the route independently. Along the way, you can stop at one of the taverns overlooking the Sile and take a break, following the rhythm of the day.
Arriving at the dock of Casale sul Sile marks the transition from water to land. Here, you will find bicycles ready for the return along the Greenway: you can head back directly to the base or continue to explore the area, biking towards Casier or Treviso and stopping wherever the landscape invites you to pause.
It's an experience of small shifts in perspective: first the river seen from the water, then its bends followed by the cycle path. In the end, there remains the feeling of having crossed the Sile Park without rushing, taking with you images of villas, green banks, and days outdoors shared with loved ones.
