Domenico Gasparini in the 1960s was considered a true artist of bronze bas-reliefs, when he opened a workshop in San Nicolò and specialized in sacred art; some works are even preserved in the Vatican Museums. He initiated a generation that in Treviso is synonymous with the art of engraving. Indeed, over the years, his sons joined him, starting to craft plates, stamps, and cups.
Today, the business is managed by his grandson Carlo, who opened a workshop on Viale Brigate Marche. They still produce rubber and metal plates, stamps, and cups, in addition to gold plating and welding. Each of the three generations of Gasparini has been able to interpret the art of engraving according to different inspirations and skills, but always according to market demands.
