1815 – 1817
The Café Pavilion, part of the monumental complex of the Royal Gardens of Venice, is an elegant neoclassical building designed by the architect Lorenzo Santi.
The building, which served as the Coee House of the park, is made of decorated and openwork Istrian stone, and it is crowned by a central dome.
Today, following a major renovation project completed in 2019, it has been restored to its original function and houses a café open to the public.
The restoration of the informational totems in the Piazza San Marco area has been supported by the project “Venice and its Lagoon: Managing and Enhancing Tourist Flows”, funded by the Italian Ministry of Tourism.
