Chiesa di Santa Maria del Giglio

The church of Santa Maria del Giglio or Zobenigo, of ancient foundation, owes its present form to the reconstruction in the second half of the seventeenth century. The façade, by Giuseppe Sardi, is one of the most original and imaginative Venetian Baroque works and as a whole is a grand monument to the Barbaro family, represented by effigies of five children and the depiction of the places where he carried out his work for Venetian Republic Antonio Barbaro. Inside it contains some valuable paintings.
