Cantine Pozzobon

The Pozzobon Agricultural Company originated around 1700, as a settlement of farmers directly dependent on the Noble Caotorta in the Paolini countryside in Volpago del Montello, Belvedere location; this company has always cultivated vines for the supply of wine to the nobles themselves. In 1969, Countess Ponti Matilde, heir to the noble Antifone Caotorta, sold a large part of the Paolini countryside to the current Commendator Pozzobon, who has since produced and sold his own wines directly. For the health of the consumer and environmental protection, integrated pest management is followed with technical advice from Cecat in Castelfranco Veneto. The love for the vine and the sacrifice of labor is undoubtedly one of the secrets of the Pozzobon Family for transforming grapes into excellent wines. For the value and prestige of his work, Mr. Pozzobon Rosalio was awarded the title of Knight by the Presidential Decree of 27/12/1993, the title of Officer by the Presidential Decree of 27/12/1996, and the title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by the Presidential Decree of 27/12/2004.
