Valdobbiadene is one of the 8 Italian cities that in 2018 received the Blue Flag awarded by the Italian Athletics Federation and the National Association of Italian Municipalities. The Blue Flag recognition is given to those municipalities that have distinguished themselves for a special commitment to promoting running and walking as tools
for physical wellness and for the creation of adequate public paths certified by FIDAL, qualified green spaces, events, and activities. This is therefore an initiative aimed at mobilizing even those people who do not regularly engage in physical activity, but who are willing to walk and run through the neighborhoods and hills in company. The 5 and 10 Km paths, inaugurated on the official delivery day of the recognition in October 2018, aim to offer an alternative route to that of the Prosecco Superiore Ring.
