The building, after many years of serving its administrative function, was stripped of elements that evoked its public dignity and abandoned.
In 2004, a restoration and redevelopment project was drafted that marked the rebirth of the structure for its new museum use. The delicate restoration work was completed in 2009.
Currently, the Museum of Foza features a section dedicated to the Great War and another to pastoralism. The museum also hosts various touring exhibitions of artistic, historical, and cultural significance. It is equipped with the latest technologies, providing visitors with unique and sensory experiences.
Several events are organized, including author meetings and workshops for children and school groups, by making advance reservations.
