The Lavaredo refuge (2344 m. a.s.l.) is located in the basin of the Piani di Lavaredo, at the foot of the yellow cliffs of Cima Piccola (the “Ca' d'oro” of Antonio Berti), the most elegant of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, among the most famous and celebrated natural architectures in the world.
Thanks to its favorable location, it is an excellent starting point for most ascents to the Lavaredo peaks, which since the mid-nineteenth century have attracted climbers from all over the world for their majestic and spectacular walls.
It offers splendid views and the possibility to visit other refuges in the area through easy paths, ferrata routes, and walking trails from the First World War.
It is reachable with a comfortable 20-minute walk from the arrival parking of the scenic road that starts from Misurina.
