The 5 km access road, ex-military and now reserved for the shuttle service, starts in Misurina (opposite the bar-restaurant Genzianella) at 1756 m and reaches Rifugio Bosi at 2205 m. The shuttle runs along it in about 12 minutes. From here, the main route on an easy path leads to the trenches and historical sites of the First World War Open Air Museum.
