The enchanting Dolomite landscape has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009 in recognition of the Dolomites’ great beauty and unique landscape and their geological and geomorphological importance. All this can be admired at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. With their pinkish-white rock faces the Dolomites look like huge cathedrals and their beauty takes your breath away. The area is the starting point for excursions and climbs with the ultra-famous Spigolo Giallo attracting a great many mountaineers. The Tre Cime can be reached by car on the 7 km of straightforward tarmac road which starts from Misurina and also by bus or on foot.
