Built in the 18th century, the rich complex of Villa Brandolini includes, in addition to the villa, the barchessa, the guest quarters, the garden and the private chapel. Typically Venetian in style, it is adorned with fine stucco decorations of Venetian influence, dating back a few decades to the construction of the villa itself. Following the damage after the First World War, Emilio Fontana - a local artist - took care of the decorative restoration.
The Villa was included in the catalogue of Venetian Villas compiled by Giuseppe Mazzotti in 1954, who praised its beauty, emphasising the salon with its large Verona marble fireplace and the 16th-century style Loggia.
A hidden network of tunnels winds around and through the Villa, which was not only an ingenious system for collecting and sorting water, but also a safe refuge during the Second World War.
The Villa is now home to exhibitions, the ‘Toti dal Monte’ music school, the ‘Consorzio di Tutela del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore’ and the Fondazione Francesco Fabbri Onlus.
