In Valdobbiadene, the heart of Prosecco production and a heritage of the Treviso hills, stands Villa Barberina, a historic residence among the Venetian villas. The villa belonged for about a century to the Piva-Viansson family, textile entrepreneurs, before being purchased in 2004 by the Franco family, historic Prosecco producers and owners of the Nino Franco Spumanti winery.
Surrounded by a park of ancient trees and vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see, Villa Barberina impresses with its harmonious architecture: a central body flanked by two wings and enhanced by dovecote towers. Restored in 2008, it has maintained the original style of the furnishings and has transformed into a relais, with environments that tell its story through period furniture and objects.
Guests can freely enjoy the lounges, sitting rooms, and dining room, places of intimacy and memory. Outside, a large two-tiered swimming pool offers moments of peace and refreshment on summer days, with a delightful view of the park, the surrounding vineyards, and the Prealps.
The six suites and rooms of the villa each offer a unique experience, between elegance and comfort:
