The naturalist group "Anthracotherium", established in 2001 by a group of enthusiastic nature and environment lovers, aims to rediscover, promote, and enhance the territory of the Bregonze Hills.
It passionately and professionally manages the Museum and the adjacent "Roccolo Moschele", the only roccolo with an educational purpose in the province.
The Naturalistic Museum of the Bregonze collaborates with schools and groups, organizes educational workshops, courses in herbalism, archaeology, etc., themed evenings, photographic exhibitions, and nature/environmental excursions.
The exhibition room has been created through donations from enthusiasts and scholars and consists of various geological samples of flora and fauna found in the Bregonze Hills or in the strictly adjacent areas.
The collections are constantly evolving thanks to the members who care for them, with the aim of preserving and enhancing the museum heritage to deepen the historical, scientific, and ethnographic aspects of the territory. The collection particularly includes: collections of rocks and minerals gathered from the area, fossils typical of the Bregonze hills, and entomological boxes with a representative collection of insects from the hilly area.
