This was the Hall of justice and it rises in Piazza dell’Antenna in the center of the town. It was erected in 1375 by order of Cansignorio della Scala who put Pietro of the Montagna family there as ruler, governor and judge.
The 2 towns subjected to the Captain of Soave’s jurisdiction contributed to the cost and are listed on the plaque. A balcony is placed in the middle of the façade with, above it, a statue of the Virgin with Child on her knee.
