Palazzo Pullici

Palazzo Pullici

Via Giulio Camuzzoni, 3 , Soave (VR) - 37038

This Palace, built in the 15th century on Camuzzoni Street, is made up of a courtyard layout bounded by high and sturdy walls. In the courtyard, the interesting external staircase connecting the floors can be found; examples of such staircases are found both in Verona and in Venice and are generally associated with the fondaco houses (warehouses). The facade presents the characteristics typical of the early Veronese Renaissance and was renovated between the 15th and early 16th centuries, a period to which the under-eave decoration and the window frames, outlined by stone profiles, can be traced back.

As the plaque on the facade attests, in this palace the poet Ippolito Nievo spent his childhood, between 1832 and 1827.

It is now the headquarters of Cantina Pieropan.
