In Via Roma, in the center of Soave, Enoteca del Soave is the historic wine shop of the town. Founded in 1980 by Cantina del Castello, it initially served as a company store. Almost immediately, the offerings were expanded to include other local producers to promote the entire Soave D.O.C. designation... Vintage Soave and Soave aged longer in steel, wood, cement, or terracotta, culminating in the unmissable Recioto di Soave, the first D.O.C.G. in Veneto… in short, all the nuances of Soave!
As of April 2024, after nearly 40 years, Cantina del Castello has returned to directly manage the business, with the aim of further enhancing Soave and other typical productions of the area, particularly Valpolicella and Lessini Durello.
The “flagship” offerings are the boards of local cured meats and cheeses. With the same products, we also make delicious sandwiches and pinsa!
