The gentle curves that intersect the landscape accompany walkers along a route to discover the history and nature of this area.
Starting from the central Ponte del Contenzioso bridge, not far from the historic Palazzo Balbi, proceed towards Via Schenelle to reach Via Toti dal Monte, where stands the imposing Villa immersed in a marvellous park of the pievigina soprano after whom the street of the same name is named. Continuing towards the centre of Barbisano, you can visit the delightful church dedicated to Santa Caterina, and then follow the path that - immersing itself in the woods - leads to the famous fortress named after the Collalto family, the noble family of Counts that once ruled the Marca Trevigiana.
Returning to Pieve di Soligo will be possible by following the Lierza torrent, or by taking via Cucco in Susegana to appreciate the sinuosity of the hills a little more before returning to the town centre.
