The complex was completely destroyed during the first conflict. However, some remains of a park boundary wall and the ice house are still visible from the original villa. Once, it was an essential room dedicated to the preservation of ice, produced during winter and kept in very thick blocks during the warmer seasons. The ice house was occupied by the Germans and became a military depot. For this reason, it was bombed on November 18, 1944, resulting in a high number of casualties.
The ice house is undergoing recovery and restoration aimed at gastronomy and remains visitable upon request.
