The building dats back to the sixteenth century and it was purchased in 1765 by the Marostican Latinist Natale Dalle Laste, as a place of rest and meditation. Right to the courtyard there is the Oratory dedicated to Saint Jerome, with a large mosaic of the Madonna del Rosario and Saints Dominic and Catherine in the centre of the façade.
The Villa was restored at the beginning of the twentieth century, with the inclusion of Art Nouveau details, with a remarkable scenic effect accentuated by the long access avenue, the sinuous staircase leading to the entrance, and by the hill on the back that serves as a backdrop to its majesty. There are important external decorations like the balcony supported by joyful cherubs, the four white marble statues depicting the seasons and the "day" and the "night" at the top of the stairs.
