Entering, you will be struck by the beauty of the altar that fills the apse, and on the right side of the nave in a plaque reads:
The Church - which in another place Domenico Matteazzi (their father) benemerito dedicated to God and St. Rose in the year 1673 by Anthony and Giampaolo his sons, was moved here in the year 1704, with the approval at the time given on the spot venerable Gregorio Barbarigo Bishop of Padua.
Domenico Matteazzi had a religious brother of the Dominican Order, one more reason to dedicate the Oratory to Santa Rosa. The altar is in colored wood enriched with gilding. The frontal is made with the technique of the polychrome scagliola and represents Santa Rosa with a book in hand among elegant decorations with flowers, butterflies, birds and the date "MDCCIV" and "MONTH AUGUST". On the sides of the frontal, inside vertical rectangles, two beautiful floral vases always in scagliola. Above the table stands the wooden altar, two columns of Tuscan order with grooves support an entablature surmounted by the tympanum.
In the center there is the oil altarpiece on canvas of cm. 110x130 in seventeenth-century Veneto style made by an unknown author, depicting Santa Rosa with a wreath of roses on her head kneeling in front of the throne with the Madonna and the Child Jesus. On the sides are Saints Anthony of Padua (Lisbon, ca. 1195 - Padua 1231) and Dominic of Guzman (Caleguera, Spain 1170 - Bologna 1221), Spanish religious founder of the order of Dominican friars. In the upper part two Angels hold up a large green canvas that is the background of the Madonna enthroned. There are numerous religious symbols inserted both in the frontal and in the altarpiece.
Every year on the evening of August 23, a day dedicated to Santa Rosa, the Oratory celebrates the Holy Mass by the Archpriest of the Pieve di Santa Maria.
