Alessio Tasca, "Mura" Antonibon, 1991

Via Rizzi, 8 , Nove - 36055

Seventy-four panels, organized into eight sections, were crafted by Alessio Tasca, weaving together the history of Nove and its ceramics. These panels intertwine personal memories with past experiences associated with the months of the year. Composed of stoneware, these engravings were created in 1991 under the commission of the municipal administration, intended to embellish the southern wall of the Antonibon-Barettoni complex. Prior to the current installation, there existed a painted decoration from 1956, executed by Tasca himself using colored mortars.

Alessio Tasca, born in Nove in 1929, graduated from the Art Institute in Venice and pursued advanced studies in Florence. In 1948, together with his brothers Marco and Flavio, he established Tasca Artigiani Ceramisti. In 1961, he inaugurated his personal workshop, focusing on crafting distinctive large-scale pieces. Concurrently with his artistic pursuits, he served as teacher at the Nove Art Institute for over two decades.
