PALAZZO TORRESINO
Built on behalf of the physician-physicist Sebastiano Torresino the palace of Torresino, it was then owned by Perli, Remondini, Carli, Negri, Dolfin and other noble families. The architectural structure dates back around 1660, the two facades are decorated with Serliane and tympanums. On the pillars of the gate there are two statues: on the right the Allegory of Medicine, on the left Aesculapius; in the cartouche: "Medicina monumentum meum est". During the First World War it was requisitioned and used as a military hospital.
CHIESA DI SANT'ANNA
Adjacent to Palazzo Torresino, there is the church dedicated to Sant'Anna built in 168, embellished and completed in 1693 by Bartolomeo Perli. Of considerable importance it is a white marble sculpture of Carrara above the altar depicting Saint Anna with the Madonna child in her arms, to be considered by Orazio Marinali. Currently the church is visible only from the outside.
