In the oldest part, next to a Gothic window, a date “1468” and a sign with the anvil were found. The workshop, used from the medieval period until 1979 for metalworking, harnessed the power provided by a diversion of the Muson stream. The complex underwent a change of use, becoming a wool mill in the 18th century. Approximately a century later, in 1770, activities related to ironworking were restored.
In 1989, the complex was purchased by the Municipality of Asolo, restored, and repurposed for cultural use.
