Work of artist Romeo Sandrin made of bronze by the Fonderia Artistica Guastini in Gambellara using the lost-wax method. Inaugurated in October 2010.
The meaning of the monument explained by the mayor Luigi Dalla Via during the inauguration:
"This monument is a tribute that the City of Schio wants to pay to the Carabinieri Corps and to every single carabiniere for the high social value that distinguishes their daily commitment to ensuring legality and security in Schio, in Italy, and with international missions, around the world. A difficult commitment not without sacrifices, for which we must all be grateful and proud. This monument is also a sign to say 'thank you' for a story of closeness and presence that has continued in Schio for almost a century and a half".
