Monument dedicated to the Pasiini brothers, prominent personalities of the Risorgimento, who collaborated in the struggle for independence.
In the sculpture created by Carlo Lorenzetti in 1906, three parts can be distinguished: the base plinth in trachyte from the Euganean hills supplied by the Santinello company of Padua, the classical column resting on three steps, made of red marble from Asiago, serving as an altar on which a bronze tripod is placed and the statue of a semi-nude Genius, in classical style, supporting a medallion with the names of the two brothers and their profiles in bas-relief.
The column bears a front plaque inscribed with “"PATRIA E SCIENZA / DD _ MCMVI" and a rear one "LODOVICO PASINI 1804 - 1870 / VALENTINO PASINI 1806 – 1864".
On the tripod it is written "RESISTENZA AD OGNI COSTO".
The steps are decorated with bronze coats of arms from Schio, Vicenza, Venice, Savoy with motifs of oak and laurel crowns.
At the foot of the statue is the bundle of rods from the lictors, the book of law and science, the broken chains of Italian servitude.
On Pasini Street, the birthplace of the Pasiini brothers has been restored; the citizens placed there, at the beginning of the century, a commemorative plaque for the birth and death of the two illustrious fellow citizens.
