The Museum of Ancient Thermalism and the Territory is located in the heart of Montegrotto Terme and, as the name promises, it consists of two main souls: Thermalism, as a millennia-old tradition of the Euganean area, and the Territory, since the museum brings to light other distinctive aspects of our land. Far from being a traditional archaeological museum, the Museum of Thermalism and the Territory embraces modernity and freshness, becoming a space of stimuli and mysteries capable of captivating every single visitor. The museum offers a 180-degree immersive room, an interactive map to explore the ancient thermal stations in space and time, a contemporary and customizable oracle, an interactive floor installation that allows you to walk on the waters of an ancient thermal spring, a multisensory timeline, a reproduction of an ancient thermal water transport system, the first brand of a historical female entrepreneur, a dynamic virtual reconstruction of a Roman villa, real skeletons of ancient inhabitants of Montegrotto... and much more.
