The building was commissioned at the end of the eighteenth century – beginning of the nineteenth century by the Bongiovanni family, wealthy local landowners.
The villa is in neoclassical style and remained the property of this family for a long time.
Only in the 1940s was it purchased by a local family who renovated it and modified the facade in a more modern way.
Subsequently, the palace was abandoned until in 1996 Fernando Tadiello bought the ancient residence and decided to restore it to its original splendor.
The restoration of the main body was completed in 2006.
