At the Priorato-Gandin Court on Via Roma is the "ethnographic museum on wood processing," where one can find common woodworking tools and those specifically used by carpenters and coopers, a valuable testimony to ancient crafts, which have been documented in San Vito since the early 1400s.
The museum houses a collection of over 2,700 objects that testify to life of the past: dishes, linens, and household items, tools used in animal husbandry, in farming, or for the activities of masons and shoemakers, as well as instruments used in weaving and in the production of yarns. The museum's library offers a rich archive of documents and photographs on local craftsmanship. An evocative cellar hosts the objects that were used in wine production.
