Villa Dolfin
Via B. L Guanella, 19 , Fratta Polesine - 45025
Registered in the Veneto Cadastre of 1775, Villa Dolfin, is an example of an architectural structure from the 1700s characterized by an elegant facade divided into three floors, with an imposing staircase leading to the noble floor and a typical dormer with a neoclassical pediment. The same attention to detail of the main facade can be seen on the rear facade, suggesting the former presence of a back entrance via the Valdentro canal, which was navigable at the time. In addition, there are a number of modern buildings, a Church dedicated to the Holy Family, and other service buildings that have undergone profound renovations over time. For several years, it has been the site of a Center for people with disabilities and a Retirement Home, founded in 1900 by Blessed Luigi Guanella.
