Palazzo Campanari
Via Tasso, 37 , Fratta Polesine - 45025
Villa Campanari appears on the maps of the Venetian Cadastre of 1775, where the manor house is depicted, located along the road that runs along the right bank of the Scortico River. The property is assigned to Domenico Campanari well beyond 1852. The building consists of a massive central body developed over three floors and two lower wings aligned with the eastern front and set back from the western one. Access to the raised ground floor is provided by an external staircase with two flights. The main façade is crowned by a semicircular pediment emphasized by a projection of the masonry of the central body. At the center of the façade, three arched portals overlap. Inside, over the years, the original features of the building have been completely lost due to various renovation works undertaken to adapt the residence for municipal use. In addition to the manor house, there are a storage area and a barn located at the back, in the internal courtyard, which once served as a warehouse and residence for the tenants.
