The National Archaeological Museum of Fratta Polesine represents the end of over 40 years of research on the ancient history of Polesine. The excavations, which were conducted in the Frattesina area between 1967 and 1974, brought to light differents finds which represent the presence of an important settlement from the late Bronze Age, between the 12th and 10th centuries BC, along the ancient course of the Po river. The main nucleus of the exhibition, hosted since 2009 in the northern portico of Villa Badoer, is made up of the findings of the village and its necropolises, Narde and Fondo Zanotto, which make it one of the most representative Final Bronze Age archaeological complexes at European level .
